Sorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre )

Verses Number 5

تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّSorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) Verse Number 1 ↓
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!
مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَSorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) Verse Number 2 ↓
No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!
سَيَصْلَى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍSorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) Verse Number 3 ↓
Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِSorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) Verse Number 4 ↓
His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!-
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍSorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) Verse Number 5 ↑
A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
