الوان القلوب Past passsive

. Affirmative


- example.1: I / he / she / it was stopped by a policeman

-example.2:we / you / they were stopped by a policeman


2. Negative

-example.1: I/it/he/she was not told what to do 1

- example.2: We/you/they were not told what to do


3. Interrogative

-example.1: Was i /he/she/it sleeping ?

-example.2: Were we/you/they sleeping ??


( we use the past passive to refer to:
1. When we want to emphasise the object of the verb not the subject


example:this table was made by my grandfather

2.when we don`t know or don`t want to say who did an action

example:these books were left in the classroom yesterday

3. Somebody`s date or place of birth using the passive structure to be born

example: My sister was born in egypt
